A company that prides itself on producing quality implements manufactures these double edge safety razors in India. They’re made of solid brass and polished nickel plate for good looks and durability. The nicest thing about these DE’s is the Twist To Open mechanism reminiscent of the old Gillette Super Speed Safety Razor. Twist the bottom of the handle and the butterfly doors open for blade changing and cleaning. The twist to open mechanisms are also nicknamed TTO’s or also referred to as butterfly closures.

The handle on this model is larger in diameter than the other two Parker Razors, comparable to the diameter of a Merkur HD Hefty handle. It’s also the heaviest of the three Parker’s with a really nice balance and feel. Spiral carvings on the handle provide a good non-slip grip. It’s also the only double edge razor we’ve ever seen with a gunmetal color nickel plate. Very attractive and our favorite Parker TTO.
