Salter began his company back in the 1940’s and supplied the hairdressing fraternity in the heart of London before and after the 2nd world war with various pots and potions, scissors, crimping irons, safety razors, cut throat razors and strops. Through the years, the family company continued its focus on wet shaving and now distributes fine products all over the world through carefully chosen stores also focused primarily on mens wet shaving tools and shaving creams. The formula is unique to Cyril R. Salter and is very well known for its thick rich lathers and strong fragrances.
